Up until 2022, this time of year was always a rush of projects for us at HPC as our clients rolled out their Q1 content plans.
But the last three years of what we now know of as “the tech recession” have changed how marketing gets done.
Instead of planning for the next quarter, marketing teams are simply reacting.
Reacting to market opportunities.
Reacting to dictums from leadership.
Reacting to sudden shifts in focus, budget and resources.
We’ve had to learn how to adapt to that.
So though we still prefer to work on longer-term retainers with our clients (the best way to improve their content results over time and create a conversion flywheel), we also now have an easy way to get quick, one-off projects done for our clients. I called the new service Content on Demand.
